2️⃣ Wastewater treatment system using nitrogen treatment technology from Japan
Invested with a capital of 100 billion VND, the wastewater treatment system uses advanced Japanese nitrogen treatment technology with a designed capacity of 3,400 m3 of wastewater/day. In addition, Ajinomoto Vietnam also built a cooling tower system that helped the plant save nearly 85% of water thanks to the circulation of water to cool the machinery system.
3️⃣ Factory “zero emissions”
For solid waste, Ajinomoto implements 3T program: reduce, recycle, reuse. Thanks to that, the company was able to recover and recycle over 99.9% of total solid waste. Besides recycling solid waste, Ajinomoto has always set a goal of minimizing emissions. Therefore, Ajinomoto has invested in a bio-boiler system using pressed rice husks and the conversion of fossil fuel sources to biological materials also helps the company reduce more than 50% of CO2 emissions into the environment. In addition, the factory also has a laboratory garden to grow plants in the factory.
4️⃣ Apply Bio-Cycle
During the production process, Ajinomoto always researches and develops products that accompany the production process, including: liquid bio-fertilizer, solid bio-organic fertilizer and animal feed ingredients. These are products that will supply nutrients back to the soil, improving yield and crop quality. From there, Ajinomoto is able to develop food sources and ensure a sustainable source of raw materials so that the company's production process is continuous.
